Jharkhand Congress Forms Seven Committees for Five Years

Ranchi: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh on Sunday announced the lists of office bearers and members of JPCC as well as other committees, following the receipt of approval from the All India Congress Committee (AICC).

Seven committees — PCC executive committee, political affairs committee, coordination committee, campaign committee, delimitation committee, election management committee, and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Committee — were formed on Sunday for a period of five years.

“The committees have been formed, shouldering different responsibilities to the office-bearers to strengthen the party’s hold across the state. The PCC executive committee will include one treasurer, 16 vice presidents, 43 general secretaries, 44 PCC coordinators, 81 secretaries and 44 joint secretaries,” Mahto said.

“A total of 14 vice presidents will each be assigned responsibility for one parliamentary constituency in the state, while two vice presidents will be tasked with guiding and coordinating PCC departments and frontal organisations,” he added.
