Karnataka Home Minister Demands End to Public Leadership Debates
Karnataka HM: Enough is Enough on Leadership Debates

Karnataka Home Minister Issues Stern Warning Over Public Leadership Debates

In a firm statement to reporters, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara declared that public debates on leadership within the political sphere must cease immediately. He emphasized that the directive from AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge to "shut up" should be taken seriously by all party members.

Kharge's Harsh Directive Cited as Final Warning

Parameshwara highlighted that Kharge's message was unequivocal and could not be more harsh, serving as a clear instruction for silence on internal matters. Despite this, he noted that some MLAs and leaders have continued to speak out, which he deemed inappropriate and counterproductive to party unity.

Enough is Enough, Says Parameshwara

The Home Minister stressed that the ongoing public discussions have reached a point where they must stop to prevent further discord. He reiterated that such debates only serve to undermine the party's cohesion and distract from governance priorities in Karnataka.

Call for Internal Discipline and Focus

Parameshwara urged all party members to adhere to internal discipline and refrain from airing grievances in the media. He pointed out that public spats could harm the party's image and effectiveness, especially in a politically sensitive state like Karnataka.

This development comes amid heightened political tensions, with leaders being reminded to prioritize collective goals over individual agendas.
