She claims to have discovered him in what she describes as a "very bad situation" at his private residence in Valakom near Kottarakkara on Saturday, an incident she says was so difficult that it defies easy description.

She stated that she took photographs at the scene as evidence and still possesses these images. When she attempted to leave the premises, she alleges that the minister's staff physically prevented her from exiting, shutting the door and attempting to seize her mobile phone to suppress evidence.
Menon explained that she sought police assistance following the advice of her relative R Sreelakha, a former Director General of Police and current BJP councillor. She claims that shortly after she contacted the police, the woman who was present at the house was swiftly escorted away in a car by one of the minister's aides. Following this, Kumar reportedly retreated into a room and locked himself inside.
"The police reached the scene but claimed they could not do anything and left without taking any substantive action," Menon revealed, highlighting what she perceives as institutional failure to address the situation properly.
