Karnataka Minister Khandre has called for the restoration of the original Bengaluru-Bidar flight timings after Star Air revised the schedule. The changes have caused inconvenience to passengers, prompting the minister to intervene.
Revised Timings
Star Air has now revised the timings, with the flight set to depart Bengaluru at 12:30 pm, arrive in Bidar at 1:45 pm, leave Bidar at 2:30 pm, and reach Bengaluru at 3:30 pm. The earlier schedule allowed for more convenient travel, and the minister has urged the airline to revert to the previous timings.
Passenger Concerns
Passengers have expressed dissatisfaction with the new timings, as they disrupt daily routines and professional commitments. The minister emphasized the need for reliable and convenient air connectivity between Bengaluru and Bidar.
Government Intervention
Khandre has written to the airline and the civil aviation ministry, requesting an immediate review of the schedule. He highlighted the importance of this route for business travelers and students, urging a swift resolution.
The minister's efforts aim to ensure that air travel remains accessible and efficient for all passengers traveling between the two cities.
