Hyderabad: Stating that the first half of the Congress government's rule in the state is a total 'flop', BRS working president KT Rama Rao said the government failed in every sector. He alleged that Rythu Bandhu has been turned into Rahul Bandhu, and farmers are facing hardships with power cuts, fertilizers, and crop procurement.
KTR's Criticism of Congress Government
“When the first half of a movie is a disaster, no one expects much from the second half, and the same applies to this government’s performance,” KTR said while speaking at a Vemulawada and Sircilla party workers meeting on Saturday.
He said people are unhappy with the Congress government and remarked that the value of a mother and the value of food are understood only in their absence. He claimed that people are now facing such a reality.
KTR accused the government of thoroughly deceiving farmers in the name of “deductions” and said farmers have once again been reduced to standing in long queues at fertilizer shops, like in the old days. He alleged that while farmers are suffering due to a shortage of gunny bags for paddy procurement, bags of money are being sent to Rahul Gandhi.
Revanth Reddy Criticized
KTR objected to Revanth Reddy’s political approach and mocked that no one could expect anything better from a person who claimed Hitler as his inspiration. He said Revanth had more dialogue than delivery. He also alleged that Revanth Reddy was responsible for insulting Meenakshi Natarajan.
The BRS working president accused the BJP and Congress of trying to win through bogus votes and asked party workers to stay alert and identify and remove fake and duplicate votes. He suggested that a census should be conducted once every ten years in line with population growth.
Call to Party Workers
KTR called for the digital membership enrollment drive to be made a success. He urged every party worker to strive for a majority in their respective booth. He said there are 287 booths in Sircilla and that dedicated work is needed everywhere. He promised that after the 25th of this month, he would visit every mandal in Vemulawada and directly learn about people’s problems.
KTR expressed confidence that people are ready to defeat Congress and bring BRS to victory in the coming elections, and said no one can stop the pink flag. He made it clear that with public support, the BRS flag would fly again.
