Keshav Prasad Maurya Slams Akhilesh Yadav Over Fake PDA and Conduct in House
Maurya Slams Akhilesh Over Fake PDA and Conduct

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday, accusing him of promoting a 'fake PDA' (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) agenda. In a series of posts on social media platform X, Maurya stated that the people of Uttar Pradesh are well aware of those who cross boundaries to serve a false narrative at Yadav's behest.

Maurya's Remarks on Conduct and Language

Maurya pointed out that the language and conduct displayed by Yadav in the legislative assembly are clearly reflected in the style and behavior of his supporters. He asserted that this reveals the true nature of Yadav's politics. 'Samajwadi Party's brave leader Shri Akhilesh Yadav ji, the people of Uttar Pradesh recognize those who cross limits to serve a fake PDA on your instructions,' Maurya tweeted.

Advice to Akhilesh Yadav

In a subsequent post, Maurya offered 'noble advice' to Akhilesh Yadav, urging him not to fall prey to misunderstandings. He highlighted the capable leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under which the Uttar Pradesh BJP, led by state president and Union Minister of State Pankaj Chaudhary, and the state government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are functioning effectively.

Political Context

The remarks come amid ongoing political sparring between the ruling BJP and the opposition Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh. The term 'PDA' has been a key electoral plank for the SP, aiming to consolidate backward classes, Dalits, and minorities. However, the BJP has consistently criticized it as a divisive and fake agenda.

Maurya's tweets are seen as a direct counter to Yadav's recent statements and actions in the assembly, where the SP has been vocal against the government's policies. The deputy CM's warning underscores the BJP's strategy to expose what they term as the SP's opportunistic politics.
