CM Mohan Yadav's Son Among 22 Couples in Historic Mass Wedding
MP CM's Son Marries in Mass Ceremony with 21 Couples

In a remarkable display of simplicity and community spirit, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is setting a new standard for political weddings as his younger son prepares to marry alongside 21 other couples in a massive collective ceremony on November 30.

Unprecedented Celebration in Political Circles

The wedding ceremony, described as unprecedented in power corridors, will see the chief minister's son Abhimanyu Yadav marry Ishita Yadav Patel alongside couples from diverse communities. The event breaks from traditional lavish political weddings, embracing instead a community-focused approach that has drawn widespread appreciation.

Families involved in the mass marriage have praised the arrangements as "smooth, dignified and stress-free." One family member of a groom explained how organizers have handled every detail, from the morning procession to the final ceremony. Special entry passes were issued to ensure seamless movement for all participants.

Community Pride and Excitement

For many families, sharing the wedding venue with the chief minister's family has added significant pride to the occasion. Abhay Yadav, brother of bride Shivani, expressed the collective excitement: "Unlike a normal wedding where every minute preparation has to be handled by the families, here everything is taken care of by the organizers. It is a proud moment for us to be part of the ceremony with the chief minister's family. We are very excited."

The celebrations officially commenced on Saturday evening with a unique engagement ceremony for Abhimanyu Yadav and Ishita Yadav Patel. The couple made a traditional entrance standing on a beautifully decorated bullock cart during a carnival-themed event behind a private hotel. In a touching traditional gesture, they fed fodder and jaggery to the bulls before performing a short ritual and riding the cart to greet gathered guests, drawing enthusiastic cheers from attendees.

Grand Preparations and Traditional Gifts

All 22 couples will participate in a ceremonial procession on the wedding day, with brides arriving in traditional baggis and grooms riding horses as part of a grand parade marking the start of festivities. In keeping with mass marriage traditions, the Yadav community will present each bride with substantial gifts including a motorcycle, two helmets, home furniture, a mangalsutra, anklets, and other essential household items.

Preparations have reached their peak at the Sanwarakhedi ground, the main venue for the November 30 event. The site features five massive domes, elaborately decorated pathways, and five green rooms specifically arranged for the ceremonies. Community volunteers and workers are actively coordinating food arrangements, seating layouts, and overall hospitality to ensure a flawless experience for all participants.

VIP Presence and Traffic Arrangements

The significant event has attracted attention from across political and industrial circles. Wives of several senior political leaders and industrialists have already arrived in Ujjain ahead of the celebrations. With substantial turnout of VIP and VVIP guests expected from Madhya Pradesh and neighboring states, local authorities have implemented comprehensive traffic management plans.

An official involved in the planning confirmed that route diversions have been finalized around Sanwarakhedi and major connecting roads to facilitate smooth movement of dignitaries. The authorities have made all necessary arrangements to ensure the event proceeds without transportation issues.

Officials also anticipate an additional influx of more than 5,000 VIP guests and devotees at the Mahakal Temple over the weekend, adding to the significance of this historic community celebration that blends political prominence with traditional values and simplicity.
