Yadav praised the initiative of creating a dedicated portal for public consultation on the UCC and said a high-level committee is touring districts across the state to gather views from citizens, political parties and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). He directed ministers to widely publicise the committee’s activities and the website to ensure maximum public participation.

The CM also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 years in office on May 26, 2026. He said that under Modi’s leadership, India has achieved significant progress in development, self-reliance, national security, cultural resurgence, digital transformation and global standing.
