Mysuru Woman Murdered by Son Over Infidelity Suspicion

A tragic incident has unfolded in Mysuru where a 48-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her own son on suspicion of infidelity. The police have arrested four family members, including the son, for committing the murder and attempting to destroy evidence to mislead the investigation.

Incident Details

The incident took place in Madalli village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Jayapura police station. The deceased has been identified as Sudha, a 48-year-old woman. Her son, Veerabhadra, 32, allegedly attacked and killed her near their house while she was working on Sunday morning.

Motive Behind the Murder

According to police sources, around three months ago, some villagers allegedly saw Sudha traveling on a motorcycle with an unidentified man. They informed Veerabhadra about it, which disturbed him deeply. He warned his mother about the incident but grew increasingly furious over time. On Sunday morning, he struck her on the head with a sharp object, leading to her death.

After learning about the incident, Jayapura police registered a case. Senior police officials visited the village and conducted a thorough investigation. Mysuru Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi confirmed the arrests and stated that the family's attempt to mislead the authorities had failed.
