Biharsharif: The Nalanda district administration on Thursday conducted a comprehensive review of the preparations for Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary's proposed visit to the district on Friday. This marks his first visit to Nalanda since assuming office.
CM's Itinerary
According to the official schedule, the Chief Minister will visit Pranawa village in Sarmera block to offer prayers at the Baba Mahto Sahib Temple. This visit coincides with the concluding day of the Shri Shri 108 Shri Sharan Niwas Baba Mahto Saheb biennial two-day fair, which draws thousands of devotees from Nalanda and neighboring districts.
Preparations and Security Measures
In preparation for the visit, District Magistrate Kundan Kumar inspected the temple premises, the designated helipad, and the adjoining fairgrounds. He issued directives to officials to ensure adequate arrangements and robust security measures. The fair features religious rituals, offerings, local markets, and cultural programs.
To manage the large crowd and ensure safety, authorities have planned separate entry and exit routes. Police personnel, fire services, and ambulances have been deployed at strategic locations. Senior officials have been instructed to maintain close coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of both the Chief Minister's visit and the fair.
The administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless experience for devotees and a secure environment for the dignitary's visit.
