NDA Allies Deliver Scathing Assessment of Jharkhand Government's Performance
Political allies within the National Democratic Alliance in Jharkhand have launched a strong critique against the Hemant Soren-led government, labeling its first year in power as a complete failure. Both Ajsu-P and JDU, key NDA constituents in the state, expressed their disappointment on the occasion of the government completing one year in office.
Broken Promises and Shattered Dreams
Ajsu-P's central vice-president Pravin Prabhakar did not mince words when addressing media persons during the government's anniversary celebrations. He asserted that the dreams of youths, students, and common citizens have been completely shattered within this single year of governance.
The leader pointedly questioned when the government plans to fulfill its major electoral promise of providing 10 lakh jobs to the people of Jharkhand. This ambitious employment guarantee was one of the key platforms that helped the INDIA Bloc ally return to power.
Multiple Schemes Facing Implementation Issues
Prabhakar highlighted several critical areas where the government has failed to deliver. Scholarships for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward caste students remain pending, creating financial hardship for thousands of students across the state.
The Ajsu-P leader further alleged that the government has been unable to provide proper funds under the Maiyan Samman Yojna regularly. Additionally, he reminded the administration about its forgotten promise of providing unemployment allowance to jobless youth.
People across Jharkhand are feeling cheated under the current state regime, Prabhakar claimed, emphasizing that the government appears to be providing jobs to only a select few rather than fulfilling its widespread employment guarantees.
JDU Echoes Similar Concerns
JDU state spokesperson Sagar Kumar joined the criticism, accusing the government of systematically breaking its promises to the people. The first year has been a failure by all accounts, Kumar stated unequivocally.
He specifically mentioned that Congress's much-publicized one vote seven guarantees promise has completely fizzled out without proper implementation. Furthermore, Kumar alleged that JMM could not fulfill even 10% of the promises outlined in its election manifesto.
The coordinated criticism from both NDA constituent parties signals growing political pressure on the Hemant Soren government as it enters its second year in power. With major employment and welfare promises remaining unfulfilled, the government faces increasing scrutiny from both political opponents and the public it serves.
