CM Nitish Kumar Conducts Detailed Inspection of Major Bihar Infrastructure Projects

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted a comprehensive site inspection on Saturday, reviewing the progress of two critical infrastructure developments: the under-construction Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor and ongoing construction work at the Bihta airport premises.

Elevated Corridor: A Transformative Connectivity Project

During his visit, Kumar meticulously examined the elevated corridor construction site, gathering detailed information from officials and issuing directives to accelerate the construction timeline. An official accompanying the Chief Minister emphasized the project's significance, stating, "The Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor represents a major infrastructure initiative for Bihar, engineered to provide seamless connectivity between Patna and its western suburbs, particularly the upcoming Bihta Civil Enclave. Upon completion, it is projected to become the longest elevated road in East India."

Bihta Airport: Enhancing Regional Air Connectivity

The Chief Minister also inspected the Bihta airport development, where officials presented site maps detailing the runway layout, passenger amenities, road connectivity provisions, and other planned facilities. Kumar stressed the importance of completing airport construction within the established timeframe while maintaining superior construction quality and adhering to stringent safety standards.
