Extensive preparations have been finalized for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Samriddhi Yatra scheduled for Friday in Gaya, Bihar. The event is set to prominently feature the ongoing agricultural activities at the Bihar Centre of Excellence on Millet Value Chain, located in Mayapur village within the Tankuppa block.

The centre is dedicated to promoting seven distinct varieties of water-resilient millets, which are crucial for sustainable farming in the region. Key types include finger millet, locally known as Madua, and pearl millet, referred to as Bajra.
