A sudden vehicle fire erupted in the state capital on Monday evening, sending waves of panic through the locality near Raja Bazar. According to fire officer Shashi Kant Sharma, the blaze originated in a stationary car before spreading rapidly to nearby motorcycles. Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot after authorities received the alert. Firefighters faced significant challenges but managed to douse the flames after a concerted effort.
The intensity of the fire was such that it completely reduced three parked motorcycles to ashes. Initial reports had indicated four motorcycles were affected, but confirmation was provided by the responding officer.
