A first-time aspirant from Baner shared his experience of drafting his manifesto after numerous consultations with local residents. "Since this is my first attempt, I have done my homework diligently. During my meetings at housing societies, people showed keen interest in knowing my views on various issues. I have included their suggestions in my manifesto," he explained.
The issues dominating these manifestos reflect Pune's pressing civic challenges. The most common promises include:
