According to news agency ANI, the guard was rushed to a hospital following the shooting. Patna SSP Kartikeya K Sharma confirmed that the guard sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. "This is a case involving physical assault. It has been reported that the guard sustained injuries. Therefore, further action is being taken by recording his statement as well as the statements of local people," Sharma said.
