In a tragic accident in Karnataka's Koppal district, six people lost their lives and nine others sustained injuries when a tractor they were traveling in fell off a bridge after colliding with another vehicle. The incident took place on Thursday evening near the village of Hattikuni.

According to police officials, the tractor was carrying a group of people when it collided with a motorcycle. The impact caused the tractor to lose control, veer off the bridge, and plunge into a dry riverbed. The deceased include four men and two women, all residents of nearby villages. The injured have been rushed to a local hospital, where some are reported to be in critical condition.
Rescue and Investigation
Local residents and police personnel immediately launched a rescue operation, pulling the victims from the wreckage. The injured were transported to the Koppal district hospital for treatment.
