In a significant political address, senior CPM leader and all-India vice-president of the Democratic Women's Association, Subhashini Ali, declared that the people of Kerala are poised to deliver a hat-trick victory to the Left Democratic Front (LDF). Speaking in Kochi, Ali inaugurated 'women's assemblies,' a campaign initiative for LDF candidates Saju Paul in Angamaly and Sabu K Jacob in Piravom, where she outlined the state's political landscape and future prospects.

Ali warned that people in Kerala have yet to witness the true face of the BJP, citing governance issues elsewhere.
Ali accused the BJP of endangering women's safety, stating, "In regions where the BJP governs, women are not secure. The party has adopted a stance of protecting those who harass women, with some of its own members being perpetrators. This is why I refer to them as the Balatkari Janata Party (rapist people's party)." She stressed the urgent need to completely exclude the BJP from Kerala's political sphere to safeguard progressive values.
Congress's Desperate Promises and Electoral Challenges
Ali also criticized the Congress party, which has been out of power in Kerala for a decade. "The Congress is in a desperate state, making extravagant promises in a bid to regain power," she remarked. Questioning their feasibility, she pointed out, "Their leader announced a pension of Rs 3,000. How can they deliver Rs 3,000 when they struggle to consistently provide even Rs 600?" This critique aims to undermine Congress's credibility and highlight the LDF's track record of reliable governance.
