West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has issued a stern warning regarding alleged infiltrators in the state, stating that the time for deportation has arrived. Speaking at a public meeting in Bhabanipur, Adhikari declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is committed to national security and will fulfill its promises.
Identification and Removal of Infiltrators
Adhikari claimed that alleged infiltrators have been identified through voter lists and subsequently removed. He emphasized that deportation should be the next logical step to safeguard the nation's interests. The Chief Minister asserted that the BJP administration would take all necessary measures to ensure the safety and integrity of the country.
Action Against Corruption and Illegal Properties
In his address, Adhikari also vowed to take legal action against individuals involved in corruption and illegal accumulation of property. He specifically referenced former minister Sujit Bose, indicating that those found guilty would face consequences. The Chief Minister stated that he had directed the Municipal Affairs Secretary and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to investigate alleged irregularities in property ownership.
Adhikari claimed that certain properties were linked to Abhishek Banerjee, his company Leaps & Bounds, family members, and the son of Javed Khan. He assured the public that the government would leave no stone unturned in addressing these issues and ensuring accountability.
