TDP MLA's Highway Dance Video Creates Controversy in Eluru

A video featuring Telugu Desam Party MLA Songa Roshan has taken social media by storm. The footage shows the politician dancing energetically on a freshly constructed highway in Jangareddigudem, Eluru district. This particular stretch of road remains officially closed to the public, awaiting its formal inauguration.

Footage Captures Celebratory Moment on New Road

In the widely shared clip, MLA Songa Roshan grooves to the popular Bollywood track from the movie Durandhar. He is accompanied by several aides, all occupying the pristine asphalt surface. Reports indicate the group specifically filmed the sequence for social media reels, utilizing the empty, newly built highway as their backdrop.

The Greenfield highway project in Jangareddigudem has recently reached completion. Authorities have scheduled its official opening and public debut to coincide with the upcoming Sankranthi festival celebrations.

Opposition Party Condemns the Act

The viral video has not gone unnoticed by political rivals. The opposition YSR Congress Party swiftly criticized MLA Songa Roshan's actions. Party representatives slammed the legislator for utilizing a public infrastructure project, which is not yet open for citizen use, for what they termed a frivolous personal video shoot.

This incident has sparked a fresh political debate in the region, highlighting tensions over the use of public assets and the conduct of elected representatives.
