A dispute between teenagers turned violent in the Bhattabasti area of Jaipur on Thursday night when a 16-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed by three juveniles following an argument over a trivial issue. The injured boy was admitted to the hospital, while police registered a case of assault and attempt to murder.

According to police, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the victim's residence in Sector 4 of Bhattabasti. A verbal altercation reportedly broke out between the teenager and his three acquaintances, which soon escalated into a physical fight.
Bhattabasti Station House Officer Deepak Tyagi stated that the three juveniles allegedly attacked the boy with a knife during the confrontation. “The teenager sustained multiple injuries and collapsed on the road in a pool of blood,” he said.
Aftermath and Investigation
The accused fled the scene after the attack, leaving the injured boy behind. Locals alerted the police, following which a team arrived and shifted the victim to Sawai Man Singh Hospital for treatment.
Doctors reported that the boy suffered serious injuries and remains under observation. Police said efforts are underway to identify and trace the three juveniles involved in the attack. The incident has raised concerns among residents over rising violence involving minors in the city.
Police are also probing whether the accused were carrying the knife beforehand or procured it during the altercation. An investigation is underway, and authorities are questioning residents to ascertain the sequence of events and the background of the dispute.
