Focus on Coordination Between Party and Government

Sources indicate that the discussions extended beyond formal introductions, delving into the current political landscape in Telangana. A key topic was enhancing coordination between the Congress government and the party apparatus in the state. The committee includes prominent figures such as CM Revanth Reddy, deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Mahesh Kumar Goud, ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, and Seethakka, along with AICC secretary Ch Vamshi Chand Reddy and AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan.

Addressing Internal Party Matters and Future Campaigns

The meeting also touched upon internal party concerns, notably the issue of party veteran T Jeevan Reddy, who has hinted at possibly quitting the Congress. Discussions included strategies to address his grievances and maintain party unity. Furthermore, the appointment of directors to various state corporations was reviewed to ensure effective governance.

Looking ahead, there was a brief discussion on the upcoming elections to five state assemblies, with possibilities explored for Telangana Congress leaders to campaign in select states. This indicates the party's broader strategic planning for electoral engagements beyond Telangana.

The meeting was attended by several other leaders, including MPs Mallu Ravi, Suresh Shetkar, and Balram Naik, underscoring its importance in shaping the political direction of the Congress in Telangana and beyond.
