The global investment spotlight turns to Hyderabad as the two-day Telangana Rising global summit commences at the Bharat Future City on Monday. This high-profile event is set to draw significant attention from a wide array of domestic and international investors, all keen to understand the state's ambitious economic vision.
Unveiling the Trillion-Dollar Roadmap
At the heart of the summit is the presentation of the state's comprehensive roadmap to achieve a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. This ambitious plan is detailed in the Telangana Rising-2047 vision document. The document has been crafted in alignment with the central government's Viksit Bharat objectives, developed through consultations with NITI Aayog, the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad, and various international experts.
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma will formally inaugurate the summit at 1:30 PM on Monday. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is slated to deliver the keynote address, which will focus on his government's performance, the vast investment opportunities in Telangana, the support system for investors, and the overarching goals of the Telangana Rising vision and the Bharat Future City project.

Showcasing Telangana's Heritage and Hospitality
The state government is pulling out all stops to showcase Telangana as a premier global investment destination. Promotional materials highlighting the state's potential and Hyderabad's historical significance have been provided to all delegates. A massive campaign using cutting-edge technology, including lighting projections, 3D projection mapping, and LED screens, has been deployed from the airport to the summit venue.
The experience extends beyond boardrooms. Delegates will be treated to a cultural evening featuring a concert by renowned music director MM Keeravani and performances of traditional Telangana dance forms like Kommu Koya, Banjara, and Perini Natyam. Culinary delights, including the iconic Hyderabadi Biryani, will be served. Additionally, the tourism department has organized visits to Buddhavanam, the world's largest heritage Buddhist theme park near Nagarjuna Sagar.
As a token of remembrance, delegates will receive a special souvenir kit containing a Pochampally Ikkat shawl, Cheriyala artwork, Hyderabadi attar, pearl jewellery, and a basket of local snacks such as Sakinalu and Nuvvula Laddu.
The summit's core objective, as stated by the CMO, is to highlight vast investment opportunities and generate employment for the youth of Telangana, marking a significant step towards realizing its trillion-dollar economic aspirations.
