Temple Authorities Seek Guarantee for Uninterrupted Fuel Supply to Maintain Devotee Offerings
In Hyderabad, concerns over maintaining a steady fuel supply for temple kitchens have prompted the executive officer of the Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple to formally request assurance from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). The temple administration emphasized the critical need for continuous gas supply to prepare religious offerings, known as prasadam, for devotees.
Formal Request Submitted to HPCL for LPG Supply Continuity
The executive officer submitted a detailed request to HPCL, highlighting how uninterrupted LPG supply is essential for the temple's daily operations. In response, HPCL provided assurances that the gas supply would continue without any disruptions, alleviating initial concerns.
Officials explained that a reliable gas supply is vital for cooking laddus and other prasadam items distributed to devotees. Currently, the temple consumes approximately 3.5 tonnes of LPG every month to meet its cooking requirements and prepare laddu offerings.
Current Stock Status and Future Confidence
Temple authorities confirmed there is no immediate shortage of LPG, with existing stocks expected to last for about two months. Following HPCL's assurance, temple officials expressed confidence that the gas supply will remain stable, ensuring the seamless preparation of offerings.
This development underscores the importance of fuel security for religious institutions in maintaining their daily rituals and services to devotees.
