Tripura CM Warns of Evil Forces Threatening National Unity
Tripura CM: Evil forces trying to weaken India

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has issued a stern warning about destructive elements working to undermine India's strength and unity. The CM made these significant remarks during the 'Sardar@150 Unity March' event held on Monday.

Unity March Commemorates Sardar Patel

The significant event took place in West Tripura district, where participants marched from the historic Ujjayanta Palace to Hapania International Ground. The march was organized as part of celebrations marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the iconic leader known as the Iron Man of India.

During his address, CM Saha emphasized that Sardar Patel played a crucial role in unifying India during the critical period between 1947 and 1949. "Between 1947 and 1949, nearly 562 princely states were merged into the Indian Union, and it became possible due to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was the then Union Home Minister," Saha stated.

Warning Against Destructive Elements

The Chief Minister expressed serious concerns about forces working against national interests. "Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel made India united, but some evil forces both within and outside India are now trying to weaken the country," Saha alerted the gathering.

He stressed the importance of constant vigilance against these threats. "We need to keep watch on them and motivate the youths to fight against them," the CM urged, while highlighting Patel's belief that India's power lies in its unity in diversity.

Call to Youth for National Development

CM Saha connected the legacy of Sardar Patel with contemporary initiatives by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "After 2014, PM Modi has given Sardar Patel due respect by declaring his birth anniversary as National Unity Day," he noted.

The Tripura Chief Minister emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to instil patriotism and a sense of responsibility among the young generation. He called upon the youth to contribute to national progress, stating that "the youth should make India self-reliant through everyday action."

The event saw significant participation from various sections of society, all coming together to honor the memory of Sardar Patel and reaffirm their commitment to national unity. CM Saha's strong message about protecting India from divisive forces resonated throughout the gathering, emphasizing the continued relevance of Sardar Patel's vision in contemporary India.
