The Bhatkal unit of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has issued a stern warning, threatening a massive protest if the Murinakatte structure is not restored within 48 hours. VHP Bhatkal unit president Ramakrishna Naik stated that Murinakatte was constructed at a location specifically earmarked by the police on Sunday. The demand comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with the VHP asserting that the site holds religious significance. Naik emphasized that failure to comply with the ultimatum would result in widespread demonstrations, potentially drawing large crowds. Local authorities have been urged to intervene to prevent any escalation. The VHP has also called for a meeting of community leaders to discuss further steps. The situation remains under watch as the deadline approaches.
