Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Attends Mundan Ceremony of OSD's Son in Gorakhpur
In a personal gesture highlighting his connection with his team, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the residence of his Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Prakhar Verma, in the Betiahata area of Gorakhpur on Wednesday. The purpose of the visit was to attend the sacred mundan ceremony, or first hair-cutting ritual, of Verma's young son, Dakshit.

Upon arriving at the residence, Chief Minister Adityanath immediately engaged in spiritual activities to mark the auspicious occasion. He offered prayers and performed jalabhishek, a ritual of pouring water, at a Shiv temple located on the premises of the Verma family home. Following the prayers, CM Yogi personally congratulated the family members, including Prakhar Verma and his relatives, on this important milestone in their child's life. He then blessed the infant, Dakshit, expressing his heartfelt wishes for the boy's health, happiness, and prosperous future. As a token of his affection and goodwill, the Chief Minister presented a gift to the child, further cementing the bond between the leader and his close aide.
