UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Instructs Ministers to Showcase Government Achievements in Districts
In a strategic move ahead of the 2025 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued clear directives to his ministerial colleagues. On Monday, the CM emphasized the need for ministers to personally visit their assigned districts, conduct comprehensive review meetings, and ensure that the public is fully informed about the work accomplished by the BJP government since it assumed office in 2017.
Focus on Public Outreach and Essential Services
During a crucial meeting with ministers on Monday morning, Adityanath outlined specific priorities. He stressed the importance of ensuring the ready availability of gas cylinders to all eligible beneficiaries. One minister present at the meeting confirmed that they will be coordinating closely with supply agencies during their district visits to guarantee that every entitled household receives a cylinder without delay.
"The Chief Minister appreciated the work done by all departments," revealed another minister. "He noted that sometimes when a government performs good work, people remain unaware. Now, all the achievements of the past nine years must be effectively communicated to the public."
Electoral Roll Revision and Financial Accountability
The ministers have also received instructions to closely monitor the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Their responsibility includes ensuring that individuals whose names were omitted from the first draft can successfully submit Form 6 to the Election Commission and have their names included in the final voter list.
Additionally, Adityanath directed ministers to:
- Review all ongoing and pending departmental works in their respective districts
- Ensure that funds allocated for the current financial year are fully utilized before the year-end deadline
Building Confidence for the 2025 Elections
The comprehensive exercise forms part of the BJP's preparations for next year's Assembly elections. The Chief Minister assured that when the BJP returns to office in 2025, all public issues will be resolved.
