HUBBALLI: A 26-year-old national-level bodybuilder allegedly died due to cardiac arrest after a workout in Davanagere on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Sushil Kumar, a resident of KTJ Nagar.
Bodybuilding Career and Achievements
Kumar was actively involved in bodybuilding competitions and had won numerous awards at both state and national levels. According to police, he was preparing for an international-level bodybuilding competition at the time of his death.
Events Leading to the Incident
His family reported that after finishing his workout at a local gym, he returned home by 8:30 pm and had dinner. Shortly after, he experienced uneasiness and suddenly collapsed. Despite being rushed to a private hospital, he could not be revived.
The sudden demise of the fit young athlete has left his family and the local community in shock. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of death, with cardiac arrest being the primary suspicion.
