Approximately 1.10 acres of land has been identified in ward 33 at Jeeva Nagar, situated near Kavundampalayam within the city. This strategic location has been earmarked specifically for the development of the indoor stadium, ensuring accessibility and convenience for athletes and visitors alike.

In October 2025, the corporation submitted a detailed project report to the state government, initially seeking Rs 15 crore for the complex. However, the government has sanctioned Rs 9.90 crore for the initial phase.
