Felipe Drugovich Comes Off the Back of His Maiden Formula E Podium
Felipe Drugovich secured his first Formula E podium in Round 10 of the Monaco E-Prix, finishing second and delivering the best result of his rookie campaign so far. Reflecting on the achievement, the Andretti driver said, "This is such a great thing to do here at this track. I love this place. I think every time I've been here I've had a podium, so I'm happy to keep that going. What a place to get my first podium in Formula E, so I'm really, really happy."
"A big thanks to the team, who had to cope with me during the first few rounds when I was nowhere near the podium. Now we're doing big things, so thanks to them," he added. Drugovich currently sits 13th in the Formula E Drivers' Championship with 32 points. The Brazilian has shown promising pace throughout his rookie season and narrowly missed out on a podium in Round 9 at Monaco, where he finished fourth.
The Formula E season resumes with the Sanya E-Prix on 20 June.
