Jake Dennis and Fiancée Lexi Grace Boosey Revel in French Easter Getaway
Andretti Formula E driver Jake Dennis is currently savoring a well-deserved break with his fiancée, Lexi Grace Boosey, in the picturesque landscapes of France. The couple chose to celebrate the Easter weekend in this romantic setting, sharing idyllic moments from their seaside breakfast date with their followers on social media.
Scenic Sea-View Breakfast at The Maybourne Riviera
Taking to Instagram Stories recently, Jake Dennis and Lexi Grace Boosey offered fans a mesmerizing look at their dining experience at The Maybourne Riviera, an ocean-facing restaurant. The pair enjoyed their meal in an open-air setting, with panoramic views of the blue Mediterranean Sea and the stunning coastal terrain below.
Boosey posted a captivating clip of Dennis as he absorbed the breathtaking vista from a glass terrace, highlighting the serene ambiance. She also shared glimpses of their delectable breakfast spread, which featured items like burgers and sausages, along with a photo of an impressive floral arrangement that adorned the restaurant.
Quality Time with Their Beloved Dog Billy
The couple was not alone on their French escapade; they were accompanied by their cherished dog, Billy. In the spirit of Easter, they made sure to include Billy in the festivities, treating him to special delicacies and new toys. This heartwarming detail underscores the family-oriented nature of their holiday.
Formula E Break and Recent Performance
Dennis has this opportunity to unwind with his loved ones because Formula E is currently on a month-long hiatus. The championship will resume next month with the Berlin E-Prix, giving drivers a chance to recharge before the next round of competition.
Reflecting on his recent form, the 30-year-old driver experienced a strong start to the season, winning the first race in Sao Paulo and proposing to Boosey shortly after. However, his performance has seen a slight dip in subsequent events. After finishing fifth in Mexico City, he placed sixth in the most recent Madrid E-Prix.
In a post on Instagram, Dennis commented on the Madrid result, stating, "6th in Madrid. A messy weekend with a mix of all conditions, but we came home with some points. Not where we want to be as a team just yet, so some homework to do! Overall, what a great event it was for FE - first time at Jarama. Awesome track and a fully sold-out event!"
Currently, Dennis holds the eighth position in the Formula E Drivers’ Standings with 47 points, trailing Season 11 world champion Oliver Rowland by just two points. Meanwhile, he and Boosey have been busy setting up their new home in Spain over the past few weeks, blending their personal and professional lives as they prepare for the future.
