International Motocross Rider Ritesh Reddy Dies in Tragic Road Accident on NH-65
In a tragic incident on Sunday, a professional motocross rider with extensive international experience lost his life in a road accident on National Highway 65 near Chityal in Nagldonda district. The victim has been identified as 40-year-old businessman Ritesh Reddy, a resident of Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.

The accident occurred around 12:30 PM approximately two kilometers away from Chityal. According to Chityal police, Ritesh Reddy was returning to Hyderabad after attending a meeting with a group of bikers in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. Despite wearing full motorcycle riding gear, including a helmet, he died on the spot. His motorcycle, a BMW 1300 CC Adventure, was found damaged nearby.
Sub-inspector Ravi Kumar informed reporters that there were no witnesses to the accident, making the exact cause unclear. "It is still not known how it happened as there were no witnesses to the accident. It is being probed whether his bike was hit by another vehicle or he lost control," he stated. Preliminary investigations suggest that Ritesh was not riding at high speed at the time of the incident.

Ritesh Reddy had been involved in professional motorcycle riding for the past two decades, participating in international rides and establishing himself as a respected figure in the motocross community. He was part of a group of nearly 50 professional bikers from various parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who had gathered in Bapatla for a get-together.
The bikers arrived in different batches and stayed in Bapatla on Friday and Saturday. On the return journey, Ritesh was traveling alone on the stretch near the accident site, with some fellow bikers a few kilometers behind him. One group member explained, "Actually, Ritesh was with us for some time till the food court. Since some others had to refuel, we took a U-turn, whereas Ritesh headed straight towards Hyderabad. Later, we got information from police that he had died in a road accident."

Passersby noticed Ritesh lying by the roadside and immediately alerted the police, who arrived at the scene promptly.
