Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal, and Mines Pralhad Joshi on Sunday assured the Kuruba community of enhanced status and development initiatives in Karnataka. He made the promise while addressing a felicitation ceremony organized by the Dharwad District unit of the Kuruba Community Development Forum-Karnataka in Dharwad.
Event Highlights
The event was held to honor Rajya Sabha member M Nagaraja for his contributions to the community and the state. Joshi, speaking as the chief guest, emphasized the government's commitment to the welfare of backward communities, particularly the Kuruba community, which is traditionally involved in shepherding and agriculture.
