The Green Bay Packers' star running back Josh Jacobs has returned to the team's organized team activities (OTAs) after being accused in a domestic violence situation. While his return has raised some eyebrows, many fans are angry that the team has not taken any action against the player yet.
Jordan Love Opens Up About Josh Jacobs' Situation
A few hours ago, Packers quarterback Jordan Love addressed Jacobs' return to OTAs, stating: "Everyone knows what the situation is there… We've talked but obviously the details…" He added, "Everyone's keeping that under wraps right now, out of respect for the situation and obviously all the legal stuff that's going to be playing out. But it's great to have Josh here with us, being able to work with us and getting back to work." Love continued, "But yeah, kind of everybody's just waiting and letting it play out on its own."
Fan Outrage Over Team's Response
However, Packers fans are far from happy, as many have called out the team and the NFL for not suspending Jacobs. To make matters worse, when Jacobs reported to OTAs a few days ago, head coach Matt LaFleur commented that it was "business as usual." This sparked outrage, with many fans furious at the Packers' casual attitude toward the domestic violence accusations, reportedly involving his rumored girlfriend, popular influencer Ash Kaashh.
No Official Statements Yet
Neither the Packers nor Jacobs have addressed the drama directly, as the star player has maintained distance from the controversy. Interestingly, amid the accusations, Jacobs has not personally addressed the allegations. While his legal team has strongly denied all claims and maintained his innocence, Jacobs remains silent. His girlfriend, Ash Kaashh, who is alleged to be the victim, has also stayed away from the public eye.
