The inaugural Dehradun T20 League 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 2 to September 9 at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun. The tournament will feature 18 matches in total, including 15 league matches, two semi-finals, and the final. The event is approved by the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU).
Player Trials and Registration
Official player trials were conducted on July 25, 2026, at the Kimtilal Sharma Cricket Ground in Nathuwala, Dehradun. The league received an overwhelming response, with 650 players registering for the official Player Draft. Over 350 cricketers participated in the trials to showcase their talent before the selection panel. Shortlisted players will now enter the Player Draft, where they will have the opportunity to be selected by one of the six franchise teams.
Franchise Teams and Streaming
The six franchise teams competing for the championship are Rishikesh Dragons, Doiwala Kings, Mussoorie Thunder, Herbertpur Knightriders, Vikasnagar Dhamaka, and Selaqui Strikers. All 18 matches will be streamed live on FanCode, bringing Uttarakhand's premier franchise cricket league to fans across the country.
