The Sports Authority of India (SAI) in Patna successfully organized the Fit India Carnival 2026 on Sunday, aiming to actively promote fitness and sports participation among citizens across the region. Bihar Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh attended the carnival as the chief guest, accompanied by distinguished officials including director of census M Ramachandrudu, Bihar Olympic Association president Ajay Kumar, and Rakesh Acharya. In her address, Singh emphasized that Fit India is not merely a campaign but a people's movement towards building a healthy and strong nation.
"We must make sports and physical activity an integral part of our daily lives and develop a culture of fitness," Singh stated. "Such initiatives play an important role in spreading awareness about fitness, inspiring young people to take up sports."
