The Ironman 70.3 Goa attracted an impressive over 1,300 triathletes from 31 different countries, transforming Goa's picturesque landscape into a global sporting arena. The grueling endurance competition tested participants through three demanding segments: a 1.9 km swim, followed by a 90 km cycling segment, and culminating with a 21.1 km run. The race course beautifully showcased Goa's diverse terrain, taking athletes across stunning coastal views and through historic heritage streets.

Prime Minister Modi specifically mentioned, "I'm delighted to see the increasing contributions of our young people in events like the Ironman 70.3 that took place in Goa today. Such events make a significant contribution to the Fit India movement. Congratulations to all who participated."

Konstantin Belousov from Uzbekistan emerged victorious in the men's category, completing the challenging course in an impressive 4 hours, 25 minutes, and 47 seconds. Among women participants, Ellie Garrett from the United Kingdom claimed the top position with a finishing time of 5 hours, 18 minutes, and 43 seconds.

Notably, the Prime Minister also commended BJP leaders K Annamalai and Tejasvi Surya for their remarkable achievement in successfully completing the demanding triathlon. The Indian Air Force demonstrated exceptional teamwork and fitness by sweeping all three podium spots in the relay event, showcasing the armed forces' commitment to physical excellence.
