Ekta Nagar in Gujarat's Narmada district witnessed an impressive gathering of cycling enthusiasts this weekend as The Unity Trail – Cycle on Sunday event kicked off with tremendous participation. The national-level cycling competition attracted more than 650 cyclists from various parts of India, creating a vibrant atmosphere of sportsmanship and environmental awareness.
Grand Inauguration and Diverse Participation
The two-day cycling extravaganza was officially inaugurated by Minister of State Dr. Jairam Gamit, who flagged off the opening five-kilometre ride. The event saw a remarkable mix of participants including professional cyclists, amateur riders, college groups, and cycling enthusiasts who traveled from different states across the country.
Local residents and tourists visiting the Statue of Unity added to the event's energy by lining up along the roadsides to cheer the participants.
