A talented group of ten young athletes from Vadodara proudly carried the flag for Gujarat at the prestigious 69th National School Games. The event was hosted recently at the renowned Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool complex in the nation's capital, New Delhi.

Vadodara's Contingent Makes a Splash

The Gujarat state team was heavily represented by the city's sporting prodigies. The contingent comprised a strong squad of nine swimmers and two divers, all hailing from Vadodara. The swimming team included the talented Madhav Daudiya, Bhavya Mehta, Harsh Maheshwari, Jaydeep Kithoriya, Chirag Negi, Avni Singh, Kashvi Singh, and Smriti Singh. The diving events saw participation from Pavya Ode and Taksh Mehta.

Bronze Medal Glory in Relay Race

The hard work and dedication of the athletes bore fruit as one of the team members secured a place on the podium. Smriti Singh showcased exceptional teamwork and speed to earn a bronze medal in the highly competitive 4x100 relay race.
