Zinc Football Academy Wins Rajasthan Women's Football League

The inaugural edition of the Rajasthan Senior Women's Football League concluded with a grand closing ceremony on Saturday at the Rajasthan United Football Club ground in Jaipur. The league was organized under the aegis of the Rajasthan Football Association.

Chief guests at the closing ceremony included Roshni Tak, Chairperson of the Women's Wing of the Rajasthan Football Association; Lal Singh Sankhla, President of the Jalore Olympic Association; Hariram Bishnoi, Secretary of the District Football Association, Jalore; along with Surendra Singh Balot, football coach Madan Singh Rathore, and NIS Football Coach Ashwini Kumar.

Dilip Singh Shekhawat, Secretary of the Rajasthan Football Association, announced that five teams from across the state participated in the league, which commenced on May 19. The final day featured two matches.

The first match, played at 7 am between Royal Football Club Jaipur and Jaipur City Football Club, ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw, with both teams showcasing exceptional skill.

The second match, held at 4 pm, saw Zinc Football Academy take on Real Jaipur FC. Zinc Football Academy delivered a dominant performance, securing a resounding 8-0 victory. This win propelled Zinc Football Academy to 21 points, having won seven of their eight matches. Magan Singh Football Academy finished as runners-up with 19 points. The unbeaten Zinc Football Academy thus claimed the title of the First Rajasthan Senior Women's Football League.

Individual awards were also presented. Dangi Marandi of Zinc Football Academy emerged as the Best Scorer with 7 goals. Manju was named the Emerging Player of the Tournament. Tamanna received the Best Defender award, Hansa was recognized as the Best Midfielder, and Sonam Ghosh was honored as the Best Goalkeeper.

During the closing ceremony, the winning team, Zinc Football Academy, and the runner-up, Magan Singh Rajvi Football Academy from Bikaner, were presented with trophies and individual prizes by the distinguished guests.

Satish Jangid (Technical Director), Amar Singh (Match Commissioner), Avakash Dayama, Javed Khan, Ankit Sharma, and Pawan Kumar (Match Referee) played crucial roles in the successful organization of the competition.
