Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is set to flag off the new Jaipur (Khatipura)-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat Express on June 21. On the same day, he will also inaugurate the new daily Bikaner-Ahmedabad train service, according to officials.
Significant Addition to Route
North Western Railway (NWR) officials stated on Thursday that the train will operate six days a week, benefiting passengers traveling for employment, education, business, and family visits. Currently, only a weekly train runs between Ajmer and Darbhanga, making this near-daily service a major enhancement for the route.
Key Halts and Stations
The Amrit Bharat Express will stop at several important stations along its route, including Dausa, Bandikui, Mandawar Mahuwa Road, Bharatpur, Agra, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Unnao, Aishbagh, Gomti Nagar, Barabanki, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, and Janakpur Road, among others.
This new service is expected to provide greater connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling between Rajasthan and Bihar, as well as other regions along the route.
