Veteran batter Mushfiqur Rahim was named Player of the Series after scoring 253 runs across the two Tests.
The defeat further deepened Pakistan’s alarming decline in away Test cricket. The loss in Sylhet extended Pakistan’s away losing streak to seven consecutive Test defeats, equalling their worst-ever run between 2018 and 2020.
