Jarkhar Hockey Academy is set to conduct trials for its residential hockey wings on June 17 at 9 am. The trials will take place at Olympian Prithipal Singh Hockey Stadium, located within Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana.

The Department of School Education has allocated under-14, under-17, and under-19 boys' hockey wings to Government Senior Secondary School, Jarkhar, for the academic session 2026-27. A departmental selection committee will oversee the trials to identify talented youngsters.

School principal Hardev Singh and academy chief administrator Jagroop Singh Jarkhar announced that 54 players will be chosen through the trials. Those selected will be provided free education, boarding, lodging, meals, and training facilities by the Department of School Education. This comprehensive support allows players to dedicate themselves fully to their sporting and academic growth.
Interested participants must report to the venue with their achievement certificates, proof of age, and four passport-size photographs.
