South Central Railway has announced the regularization of the 07615/07616 Charlapalli – Trichy - Charlapalli weekly special train as regular train number 17077/17078, effective from July 7. This decision aims to provide a permanent service on this route, enhancing connectivity between the two cities.
Train Schedule and Frequency
The train will commence its maiden journey as a regular service from Charlapalli on Tuesdays. In the return direction, the train will depart from Trichy at 9:30 PM on Wednesdays, starting from July 8. This weekly schedule ensures consistent travel options for passengers.
Coach Composition
The train will consist of a total of 22 coaches, including three AC two-tier, five AC three-tier, ten sleeper class, and four general second class coaches. This composition offers a range of accommodation options to suit different passenger preferences.
Terminal Station Changes for Humsafar Express
In a related development, the railways have announced that the terminal station for the Bhagat Ki Kothi - Trichy and Bhagat Ki Kothi - Mannargudi Humsafar Express trains will be changed to Jodhpur. This change will take effect from May 30 for the Bhagat Ki Kothi - Trichy service and from June 1 for the Bhagat Ki Kothi - Mannargudi service. Passengers are advised to note the revised terminal station for their travel plans.
