Odisha's Boudh followed closely at 42.8 degrees Celsius, while Brahmapuri in Maharashtra recorded 42.3 degrees Celsius. Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh and Bathinda in Punjab shared the fourth spot with temperatures of 42.2 degrees Celsius each.
