In a crucial Indian Football League (IFL) encounter at the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri on Friday, Gokulam Kerala FC secured their first win of the season, defeating Dempo SC by a score of 2-0. This result marked the end of a frustrating wait for three points for both teams, who had entered the match without a victory after three previous games.

Both sides made significant adjustments to their lineups, with each team implementing four changes in an attempt to reverse their fortunes.
