Amritsar Boy Jafarjot Singh Secures AIR 878 in JEE Advanced
Amritsar's Jafarjot Singh, a student of Spring Dale Senior Secondary School, has achieved an All-India Rank (AIR) of 878 in the JEE Advanced 2026 examination. This remarkable feat highlights his dedication and hard work. Another student from the same school, Divjyot Singh, secured an AIR of 3106, adding to the institution's pride.
Top Performers in JEE Advanced 2026
Shubham Kumar topped the exam with 330 marks, securing AIR 1. He was closely followed by Kabir Chhillar with 329 marks (AIR 2) and Jatin Chahar with 319 marks (AIR 3). Out of the 179,694 candidates who appeared for the examination, 56,880 successfully qualified.
Earlier Achievements in JEE Mains
Jafarjot had previously secured an AIR of 2683 with a 99.83 percentile in JEE Mains. Shramay Mahajan from the same school achieved a 99.77 percentile. Divjyot Singh also scored a 99.77 percentile in JEE Mains. Divjyot now plans to pursue a career in either electrical engineering or computer science. His mother, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, is a professor at Shri Guru Ram Das Hospital, while his father, Dr. Jagdeep Singh, is associated with Fortis Hospital.

Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Chairman of the Spring Dale Educational Society, announced that other notable achievers include Har Kabir Singh (AIR 4365), Shramay Mahajan (AIR 5720), Suvanjot Kaur (AIR 9101), Aarav Mahajan (AIR 9220), Saviroop Singh (AIR 11954), Virender Goswami (AIR 22757), Rhythmpreet Singh (AIR 23404), and Ishika Aggarwal (AIR 25980).
