Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh released the results of the AP Physical Education Common Entrance Test (AP PECET) 2026 on Tuesday, recording an overall pass percentage of 89.76%. This entrance test is exclusively for admissions into sports and physical education courses.
Key Statistics of AP PECET 2026
Out of 4,037 registered candidates, 2,958 appeared for the examination, and 2,655 successfully qualified. Among the successful candidates, 1,993 were men, achieving a pass percentage of 92.91%, while 662 women qualified with a pass percentage of 81.43%.
Examination Conduct and Course Allocation
The AP PECET 2026 was conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) from June 3 to June 8. Officials confirmed that 2,396 candidates qualified for Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) courses, while 259 candidates qualified for Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) programmes.
