CBSE Class 12 Revaluation Portal Glitches Continue, Parents Worry
CBSE Revaluation Portal Glitches Persist, Parents Anxious

Chennai: With hardly a day left to apply for revaluation, parents of CBSE Class XII students continued to face issues with the web portal on Sunday — from pages freezing to unending reloading. “The deadline is likely to be extended to another day,” a school head said.

CBSE regional office said that the issues were pertaining to website traffic and that several students were able to successfully apply. The portal has been facing technical glitches, including payment issues and traffic overload, since it was launched on May 19. CBSE had roped in experts from IIT Madras to probe the issue.

While the initial schedule to apply for answer sheet scans and revaluation were on May 22 and 29 respectively, the glitches pushed the deadlines to May 25 and June 1.

Parents expressed frustration over the repeated failures of the portal, with many unable to complete the application process. School authorities have been advising parents to keep trying at different times of the day to avoid peak traffic. The CBSE regional office has assured that the deadline will be extended if necessary, and students will not be disadvantaged due to technical problems.

The involvement of IIT Madras experts aims to identify the root cause of the glitches and implement a permanent fix to ensure smooth processing for all applicants. Meanwhile, parents continue to monitor the portal closely, hoping for a resolution before the final deadline.
